I've been tutoring since I was a high school student, and since that time I've had the opportunity to assist college athletes, work as a dance instructor, tutor reading, and serve as a counselor for a camp. I also have experience teaching history and English at the high school level, and I currently work as a curriculum director. As a tutor, I enjoy working with students who are experiencing difficulties to help them become successful and develop a love of learning. I enjoy writing and reading myself, and I'm skilled at helping students become better writers and readers. When I work with students, I will focus on identifying their strengths first so that I can build on those to make them successful learners and confident people.
